Access to Information Requests

Under the Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA) and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) you may request records held by us or exercise your rights over your personal information. All requests are handled by our Information Officer. To protect our people, we do not publish the personal contact details of our officers — please use this page.

This page covers records and personal information held by Horizon Strategic Group (Pty) Ltd. Each subsidiary is a separate responsible party and handles its own requests: VaultCore Solutions and Mind Haven Innovations.

What you can request

  • Access to a record held by us PAIA s50

Submit a request

Submitting opens your email client with a pre-filled message to our Information Officer ([email protected]). Review it and press send.

Do NOT include ID numbers in this form. Our Information Officer will contact you to verify your identity securely before releasing any personal information.

Official prescribed forms

You may instead use the forms prescribed by the Information Regulator and email the completed form to [email protected].

Timelines & fees

  • We respond within 30 days of receiving a complete request (PAIA s56). This may be extended once by up to 30 days, with written notice and reasons (PAIA s57).
  • Requests for your own personal information carry no request fee.
  • Other PAIA requests may attract the fees prescribed in the PAIA Regulations. You will be told of any fee in advance.
